Organizational structure

Due to its simplicity, it is inherited from the responsibilities arising from its specific attributions to enable optimal coordination of our activities and a response adapted to the needs of economic operators and partner administrations.

Governance

With the new Single Window for Foreign Trade platform, which has been operated by SEGUB since July 2023, the roles of technicians and operational staff have become very important. As a result, the organizational chart has been updated since September 2025 by decision of the Board of Directors.

Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is SEGUB's supreme decision-making body. It defines strategic directions and ensures their implementation by the Executive Management. It is composed of representatives of the Beninese government, thus ensuring balanced and inclusive governance.

General Management

The General Management team oversees the day-to-day management of the company and implements the decisions of the Board of Directors. It is headed by a Managing Director appointed by the Council of Ministers for a corporate term. Reporting to the General Management team are the Assistant General Manager, the Person Responsible for Public Procurement (PRMP), the Head of the Public Procurement Unit (CCMP), and various departments.

Management Committee

The Steering Committee meets weekly to coordinate SEGUB's activities and make the operational decisions necessary for its proper functioning. It is composed of:

  • The Director General (Chairman of the Committee)
  • The Administrative Manager (Committee Secretary)
  • The Director of Information Systems
  • The Customer Support Manager
  • The Finance Manager
  • The Accounting Manager
